Shaitan Film Review

Directed by Vikram Paul, the film stars Ajay Devgn, Madhavan, Jyothika, Angad Raj, and Jankee Podivala in lead roles.

Jyothika made her debut in the year 1998 with the Hindi film Doli Sajake Ragna. Later, she acted in many films in Tamil and Telugu. After many years, Jyothika is back in Bollywood.

Jyothika, who has worked with Madhavan in films like Dear Dosti and Dum Dum, is paired opposite Ajay Devgn for the first time in this film. Madhavan is the villain.

So, did the film shock the audience? Or is it tough? Take a look at the detailed review here.

Kabir (Ajay Devgn) goes with his wife Jyoti (Jyothika) and children Jhanvi (Janki Podiwala) and Dhruv (Angad Raj) to celebrate the weekend with the family at the farmhouse. On the way, they meet Vanraj (Madhavan). Vanraj soon becomes friends with the family. He then gives a laddu to Jyothika's daughter. The woman wants to eat it. After that, they go to the farm house, and Madhavan also comes there and sits on a chair in the middle of the house.

Story Line

Ajay Devgan and his family did not understand anything at first. After this, when the forest king Madhavan started feeding the daughter with the laddus that he had made, the family is shocked to see that he has become friendly so far. Madhavan also instructs the girl to torture and kill her family members. The story of the film is about what Ajay Devgn does to save his daughter and family from this devil.

How's the movie

It is an unwritten rule that if a family is shown in a good voice, laughing and happy, then in the next few minutes that family is going to sing. In the first 10 minutes of the film, the happiness on the faces of the family is visible, as in the film Manjummal Boys, the situation changes when the young people who go to the Guna cave and do everything on the shelf fall into the friend's pit. When Madhavan comes inside, the farm house turns into a battlefield as Shaitan comes on a bicycle.

Overall

Despite all the threats to the ghost, the climax of the film and Madhavan's reasons for singing the song did not impress much. The film ends up as a climax to the usual ghost films. However, the film is going to be a hit at the box office as it has been kept under wraps till the end.
