How's the film?
After Indian 2, there were criticisms that Shankar's writing and direction had diminished. But with 'Game Changer', Shankar has once again proved that he is a master at making commercial films by combining stories that take place in a political backdrop. Ram Charan plays the lead role in this film. Ram Charan's performance is the highlight of the film.
Appanna's character is another milestone in Ram Charan's career. He excelled in emotional scenes. Anjali is playing the lead role. Anjali will be a character for many more years to come.
SJ Suryah is back in the role of Super Villain. Whistle blows in the theatre during the scenes where he and Ram Charan talk.
Thoppu, Jarugandi song Attakasam in Thaman's music, both are vintage Shankar touch. The background music can be a little off-putting.
The film's cinematography, as usual, has shown a huge crowd and the set is all so beautiful.
Plus
The first half of the film is handled by Ram Charan. The way the Election Commissioner told the people about the importance of the election.
Minus
Shankar's screenplay transgresses logic.
